Title: Payables Clerk

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Location: Canal Winchester, OH /

Job Summary:

The Payables Clerk will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable process. The successful candidate will be required to process supplier invoices, reconcile accounts, and prepare reports. The Payables Clerk will also need to communicate effectively with vendors, internal teams, and management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process supplier invoices and ensure accuracy of the accounts payable ledger
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
• Verify vendor accounts and reconcile any issues with the appropriate party
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports to management
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files and documentation
• Handle supplier inquiries and resolve issues as they arise
• Support the Finance team as needed with various projects and initiatives

Qualifications and Skills:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
• Proficient in MS Excel and experience with accounting software is a plus
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associates degree or equivalent in Accounting or a related field is preferred
