Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Prepare the clinic for opening each day by reviewing the facility, opening all systems applications, and preparing new patient registration packets and required documents

· Greet patients, provide patients initial paperwork, and obtain copies of insurance and identification cards

· Register patients, update patient records, and verify insurance accurately and timely

· Follow company procedures related to workers’ compensation and occupational medicine patients

· Determine, collect and process patient payments and address collection and billing issues

· Discharge patients accurately and timely by collecting balances, providing patient documentation, and following discharge procedures

· Respond promptly to customer needs, provide excellent customer service, assist patients with follow-up appointments, and fulfill medical documentation requests

· Balance daily patient charges (cash, check, credit cards) against system reports

· Complete closing procedures by preparing closing documentation and submitting required reports

· Prepare, sign, and drop the deposit in the safe on a nightly basis

· Complete cash control procedures and secure financial assets

· Maintain complete and accurate documentation.

· Maintain office supplies

· Observe safety and security procedures; promote a safe and pleasant work environment

· Report potentially unsafe conditions to management

· Regular attendance to ensure efficient clinic operations

· Ensure front desk employees are adequately trained to perform assigned duties safely and correctly

· Ensure front desk employees follow all company policies and procedures.

· Assist CA in ensuring compliance with front office procedures and ensure accuracy of financial transactions

· Participate in special projects as needed

· Assist CA in confirming Daily Checklists are being worked

· Assist CA in confirming Weekly Checklists are being worked

· Assist CA in monitoring Chart Room and assist on maintaining patient flow

· Assist CA in preventing patient complaints

· Assist CA in maintaining appearance of center, inside, outside and parking lot

· Assist CA in reviewing appearance of front desk staff (all are wearing approved uniforms and name tags)

· Assist CA in checking faxes to ensure all are worked daily

· Assist CA in overseeing drug reporting for drug screens

· Assist CA in checking and releasing billing

· Assist CA in Completing Deposit according to Cash Control Policy and submit to home office

· Assist CA in dealing with Occ Med and Work Comp accounts as needed

· Assist CA in spot checking insurance verification

· Assist CA in spot checking daily billing sheet (are FD staff collecting appropriate amount?)

· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour
