Brief Description:

We are looking for a Patient Navigator that has an interest in guiding patients through the healthcare system to ensure timely screenings, diagnosis, and treatment. The Patient Navigator must be computer savvy and enjoy working in an office environment completing and processing paperwork and computer data entry with accuracy and within specific timeframes.

What you will be doing in this role:

  • Contact clients for annual follow-up by phone and by mail
  • Assist with cancer screening and diagnostic education of clients and clinic patients, as needed
  • Verify timely completion and return of enrollment paperwork and assist clients with completing paperwork as needed
  • Track clients, appointments, and screening & diagnostic outcomes in appropriate spreadsheet and/or database and follow-up with clients as needed
  • Help interpret for our clients as needed (if you possess that ability)

What you need to qualify for this role:

  • Customer Service experience or training
  • Flexibility to work an occasional weekend day or travel out of town for screening days (time will be flexed)
  • Competency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Coachability/Willingness to learn
