Responsibilities:
Talbott Recovery Campus in Atlanta offers a comprehensive range of services that address substance abuse and co-occurring psychiatric disorders. Every patient receives unique, individualized treatment that best fits their needs.
We are currently hiring a Patient Account Rep responsible for collecting, posting and managing patient account payments. Must have recent experience working collections with managed care companies.
This is a Mon- Fri, day shift, on site position with a full benefits package including PTO, Life Insurance, Medical, Dental Vision, and 401(k) matching.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
Works a minimum of 30 accounts per day
Performs various collection actions including contacting patients and insurance companies by phone, correcting and resubmitting claims to third party payers
Verifies insurance benefits and changes in benefits both in and out of network
Ensures accuracy of all accounts, charges, payments and adjustments
Prepares and submits clean claims to various insurance companies either electronically or by paper

Qualifications:

Must have high level of interpersonal skills. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, professionalism, tact and diplomacy.

High school diploma is required as well as a minimum two years' experience in a similar healthcare Business Office role.
