Job Profile and Description

The Interviewer performs initial interviews of prospective candidates for vacant positions by telephone. The objective is to shortlist the candidate for further screening or interviews and to share more information about the job opportunity with the candidate. The interviewer provides an initial impression of the company to the applicant and provides their initial impression of the applicant to the employer administrators.

HR Interviewer Duties and Responsibilities

· Contact applicant and ask questions in accordance with standards procedure as defined by the company

· Contact individuals to be interviewed by telephone, email, and/or text message.

· Keep track of recruiting activity and enter it online and/or provide Director of Recruiting with daily interview statistics and results

o This could include creating and updating spreadsheets

· Provide interviewees with information and next steps in the interview process

HR Interviewer Skills and Specifications

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Must exhibit courteous, dignified, and pleasant personality

· Has computer proficiency in the use of word processing and spreadsheets

· Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with supervisors and interviewees

· Interviewer will be coachable

· Must have laptop or equivalent

HR Interviewer Salary

The hourly rate for an Interviewer is $10.00 to $12.00 and the position is part time at 15 hours per week. The interviewer would be expected to interview at least 35 people per week and provide information to at least 30 of them.

Interviewer would be expected to work from the Jacksonville, FL area.
