Part-Time Housekeeper / Personal Assistant
We are small business owners who work from home, looking for a part-time housekeeper and personal assistant who is enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude. We want someone who will proactively solve problems and manage the house like it was their home. As housekeeper and assistant for our family (two adults, a cat, and chickens), you will perform duties such as:
- Maintenance cleaning (e.g., weekly vacuuming/dusting, cleaning bathrooms and floors) and periodic heavy cleaning (e.g., windows, kitchen deep clean, etc.)
- Changing bedding and linens
- Laundry and ironing Errands such as:
- Taking things to Goodwill
- Prepping items for shipping and taking to UPS (United Parcel Service)
- Grocery shopping
- Other shopping and errands in the local area
- Keeping track of necessary household supplies and purchasing as needed
- Taking pets to vet appointments as needed
- Light gardening (sweeping porch, watering flowerpots/planters, )
This is a 16 hour a week position preferably divided into four 4-hour days, any day Monday through Friday between 9 am and 6 pm.
Compensation: $20/hour.
The ideal candidate should like animals, have a reliable vehicle, and excellent references.
