Mr. Handyman of Princeton and Robbinsville and Mr. Handyman of Newtown and Yardley are territories of a locally owned home improvement company that covers the areas around Princeton, NJ and Newtown, PA. We work very hard to deliver a professional experience for customers who are not used to finding that in the home improvement space, particularly for smaller projects. We have an experienced team that delivers top notch work and great customer service with strong communication. We need someone who can help our current office staff. The perfect candidate:

• Is organized. We deal with spikes in inquiries by phone, text, and email and we communicate constantly with customers and our technicians. We need to make sure everything is handled in a timely fashion. That involves teamwork and communication.
• Understands operations and the importance of efficiency. We do smaller jobs, so our success is driven by the efficiency of our dispatch schedule.
• Communicates well with customers, with our technicians, and with our colleagues in the office.
• Is interested in home improvement. We do a very wide variety of repairs – every call is different. And some customers have had bad experiences with contractors. We are different and we need to show that to get the opportunity to earn their trust.
• Is proactive. You can help our customers’ projects and our technicians’ days go smoothly by anticipating and helping address challenges as you review the schedule.
• Is a team player. We all succeed when we support each other.
• Is comfortable with computers and social media.
  

Experience with home improvement, commercial repairs or facilities maintenance is a plus. Experience with ServiceTitan software is a plus. Experience working with subcontractors and/or the municipal permit process is a plus.

Benefits and Pay:

• Pay range $18-$21/hour

While this job will likely be done remotely, we prefer someone relatively local who knows the area, can come to the office for training, and can occasionally attend team meetings.
