C&S has an immediate opening for a part-time, temp-to-hire Administrative Assistant in Jefferson City.

Salary/hours for Administrative Assistant: $16/hr.; Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-1 p.m. or 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Responsibilities for Administrative Assistant:

  • maintain filing systems (physical and electronic) and appropriate level of supplies
  • responsible for church bulletins
  • maintains master parish calendar, schedules and records/database
  • sort and prioritize mail and verbal communications received
  • act as financial secretary, receptionist and administrative support for vestry and staff members
  • prepares mailings/email messages, annual report and phone directory
  • coordination of volunteers, server schedules, cleaning crews and vendors

Requirements for Administrative Assistant:

  • previous office and accounting experience needed
  • ability to represent the church in a professional, courteous and welcoming manner
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent listening skills
  • must have attention to detail and be highly organized
