The starting wage is $12.00 per hour, plus gratuity, which can exceed an additional $12.00 per hour.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for providing services to members and guests, and maintaining a smooth pace of play, and orderly flow of golfers on the course. Performs duties of different workstations as requested. This position reports to the Outside Services Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides quality and personal service to all golf members and guests.
• Informs members on course conditions, hours of operation and upcoming events.
• Promotes the game, the Club, golf events and clinics.
• Responsible for set-up, up-keep, and closing of driving range, depending on shift hours.
• Responsible for up-keep of bag room, cart barn, driving range and starter's booth area, making sure areas are clean and working properly at all times.
• Responsible for being visible and outgoing at all times, offering every possible service to golf members and guests.
• Able to operate all different work stations around the golf operations as trained.
• Responsible for cleaning, charging and storing Club's golf carts.
• Alerts mechanics, or Supervisor, of any needed repairs or possible problems.
• Performs other duties as requested by Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• This position requires knowledge of golf rules, regulations and procedures.
• The incumbent should be capable of timing and managing players to achieve smooth flow of play.
