Include Me Advocacy Group is currently seeking two Onsite Coordinators to join our team here in the Spring Hill area!

POSITION DETAILS

An Onsite Coordinator (OC) has an integral role in furthering an individual's success in a competitive, integrated environment. The OC provides supported individuals with hands-on career instruction and ensures each person feels comfortable with their skill set to complete the tasks they’re responsible for. An OC serves as a liaison and represents IMAG on the job. OC’s model proper etiquette, answer questions and address concerns from both employee and employer. OC’s assist, guide and empower the individual to achieve their work-related goals and communicate their successes with others.

Each OC has the opportunity to support the Employment First initiative adopted by the state of Tennessee which highlights the belief that all citizens have the right to work and are capable of participation in the workforce.

Each OC will have the opportunity to work with members served by the ECF Choices waiver.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Ability to read and understand an individual’s person-centered support plan (PCSP) and implement it, with assistance from IMAG’s employment team.
  • Assist the supported individual on the job.
  • Examples include: sequencing job tasks, fostering communication, developing/maintaining appropriate relationships with colleagues and supervisor(s), resolving transportation issues, addressing customers/guests professionally, keeping focus and attention to tasks, problem solving, identify and develop co-worker and natural supports * Document challenges, fading strategies, opportunities, skills progression, and techniques used in written form.
  • Responding to unexpected situations in a way that protects both your and the member's comfort and safety.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The successful Onsite Coordinator is reliable, energetic, professional, flexible, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Preferred qualifications include:

  • Aged 18 years or older.
  • Have earned High School Diploma or GED.
  • Above average oral and written communication skills as evidenced by an in-person interview.
  • Ability to complete on the job training modules and job shadowing in a timely manner. (ACRE, CESP and/or TRN training is a plus!)
  • Effectively pass criminal background checks.
  • Obtain and Maintain First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • Valid and current state Driver's License with an acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance.
  • Be able to arrange own travel to work sites throughout counties around Nashville, and to our office.
  • A minimum of six months’ experience with adults who have disabilities (or similar experience is strongly preferred)

PAY RATE
$18-$20 Dependent upon Experience

  • Must be able to provide a written recommendation upon request from one of the following:
  • Employer/Former Employer
  • Professor/Teacher
  • Mentor
  • Mentee
  • Volunteer Supervisor, or similar.
  • This written recommendation will detail the person's experience with you in a business setting/environment.
