Job Title: High Dosage Tutor

SUMMARY: Responsible for providing instructional support to students through high-dosage tutoring. Coordinate with school high-dosage tutoring Site Facilitator to be assigned sessions to work with students needing high-dosage tutoring services.

DESCRIPTION OF JOB TASKS

Provide research-based, intentional scaffolded tutoring focused on Literacy and Math to students in person, in tutoring sessions scheduled by the school; serve four or fewer students for 45-60 minutes, three or more times per week.

Prepare tutoring plans, activities, and materials as outlined by the CPASD high dosage tutoring models by using instructional materials provided by the school and ensuring alignment with Michigan Academic Standards.

Engage in ongoing communication and collaboration with the Site Facilitator, classroom teachers, and additional school staff as determined by the Site Facilitator or School Administrator.

Communicate student needs and/or progress with the Site Facilitator and classroom teachers.

Build a positive relationship with students and create a learning environment that maximizes instructional opportunities.

To maintain student records and reports as needed to allow monitoring of student growth and adaptation of support as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour
