Work Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Summary :

The Manager of Business Development is responsible for business development, communications and marketing activities with agreed upon goals established to advance and increase agency initiatives and product lines identified by the President and Senior Leadership Team of HCH. The Manager is responsible for adhering to NLH brand standards, working in collaboration with our System Marketing division to develop and implement strategic marketing and communications plans, coordinating with internal system and external creative resources, overseeing distribution of HCH and system communications to employees, physicians and other providers, volunteers and others, and works with members of statewide and local media on proactive and reactive stories that pertain to Home Care & Hospice. The manager also oversees key external and internal communications vehicles such as newsletters, email blasts, development of and content for the internal web (intranet), and external web (internet), social media, and other venues. As a member of the Home Care Executive Leadership Team, the incumbent participates in the general management of the organization and the development and implementation of its strategic plan. Performance reflects the mission and values of Home Care & Hospice.

Responsibilities:

  • Hires, supervises, trains and develops retention plans for Business Development staff.

  • Managers and addresses performance of Business Development staff.

  • Collaborates with the organization’s Patient Access Management staff who monitor and evaluate referral trends, patient complaints and specialty service needs to assure highest levels of service delivery and to track and anticipate future program requirements and clinical services opportunities and ensures alignment with strategic plan.

  • Conducts planning for and measurement of referral source satisfaction and integration of findings into strategic sales and marketing initiatives.

  • Utilizes agency liaisons as strategic sales force for the agency with a focus on strategic marketing and sales development.

  • Plans and executes contacts with current and potential referral sources, including physician offices, hospital discharge planners, and assisted living and nursing home facilities.

  • Manages and directs the provider relations strategy, implementation, and measurements process for the agency in conjunction with the Leadership Team.

  • Collaborates with the NLH Public Relations and Marketing staff to maximize success of all agency programs and services.

  • Represents HCH to and / or with other organization in response to request for sponsorships, opportunities for exhibits, educational events or other activities organized for various publics.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Other Information :

Bachelors’ Degree required.

Five+ years of relative work experience required.
