The Merchant Solutions Virtual Digital Payment Advisor sells merchant credit card processing products and services to prospects via telephone channel. Has assigned territory, specific production goals and manages virtually. Supports the Retail Bank, Small Business, Commercial, Treasury Management, Contact Center and Digital Channels. Works with Senior Leaders in Retail to increase awareness, conduct training and build engagement and relationships.

Requirements

Manages prospecting activity within assigned geographic region
Manages multiple Customer relationships
Prospects and meets Customers
Maintains high Customer Service levels
Makes recommendations to improve operational efficiencies
Reviews documentation and partners with internal resources
Produces and submits regular activity reports to management and updates sales force
Ensures new sales acquired contribute positively to the overall net income and within our established guidelines of our organization
Recommends complete set of products as appropriate for prospects in addition to product enhancements to prospects to ensure compatibility with card association regulations
Develops new business and cross referrals to appropriate internal personnel
Conducts comprehensive analysis on new prospect to acquire new business within established pricing guidelines
Builds and strengthens relationships with Retail, Small Business, Commercial, Treasury and Contact Center employees
Delivers products and services in a consultative solutions based conversation
Assist in delivery of training materials to existing staff and or new hires
  • Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
3+ Years of related experience
Knowledge of merchant services industry, products and services including processor platforms and equipment and software applications used in payment processing preferred
Sales ability, including persuasive phone skills
Strong negotiation skills
Strong communication and organization skills
Detail oriented and ability to work well under time constraints
Microsoft Office/Computer Skills
Prior merchant services industry experience preferred
