Our small but growing credit union is looking to add a few members to our team. Our Member Success Team services our members both in person in our branches and in our contact center via phones, email & chat.

Here's what a typical day may look like:

• Greet and welcome members in a friendly manner
• Perform financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals and transfers.
• Balance cash drawer at the end of the day.
• Process account maintenance requests.
• Promote, explain and cross-sell other credit union products and services based on member needs.
• Research accounts for discrepancies.
• Demonstrate to members online banking, mobile banking, and mobile deposits.
• Provides financial services to members including teller, new account services, lending etc.
• Effectively and efficiently multi tasks between various job duties and responsibilities.
• Committed to excellent member service by possessing sales and marketing skills and dedicated to the credit union’s member service expectations.
• Models the corporate culture that fosters creating thinking and respects diversity – an environment where team members are engaged, supportive of one another and enthusiastic about serving our members.
• Maintains current knowledge of credit union deposit, loan products, and services to effectively identifies member needs and identify opportunities to enhance existing customer relationships and engage potential new members.
• Initiates and ensures successful onboarding of members to through the use of phone calls, E-mail, and mailings.
• May assist in training and mentoring of new employees.
• Travel between branches required (5 mile radius)
• Required to lift/transport items, including but not limited to cash drawers, safe deposit boxes, coin bags, boxes and other items or objects.
• Our Credit Union is open Monday-Saturday with Saturday hours being a requirement'

Job Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Strong member/customer service and problem-solving skills;
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Detailed Oriented
• Working knowledge of computers
• Able to work well with others
• Must be able to work every Tuesday and Thursday
• Must be able to work rotating Saturdays
• Float/Rotation to our Chicago & Skokie branches are Required
• Knowledge of Personal Banking/New Accounts experience & Loan applications and closings a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
