Recent Acute care experience highly preferred
General Surgical
Acute care Med/Surg experience preferred especially with post surgical Colorectal, Urology and Ortho patient population
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred

- 30 bed General Medicine unit
- Free Charge RN and 4 PCAs on each shift
- Unit Secretary availability
- 4:1 ratio on days and 5:1 nights, Discharge RN available on day shift
- 24/7 Hospitalists available
- Self-draw unit, PCA/PCTs trained to do blood draws and blood cultures
- BSN or current enrollment required
- Vital signs scanned automatically
- Matrix schedule, only work every 3rd weekend
General Surgical
Acute care Med/Surg experience preferred especially with post surgical Colorectal, Urology and Ortho patient population
- 30 bed General Surgical unit

- Unit Secretary availability 7 days a week
- Ortho Nurse Navigator
- 4:1 ratio on days, 5:1 ratio on Nights (Discharge RN available on days)
- PCA/PCTs trained to do blood draws and blood cultures
- Vital signs scanned automatically
- 24/7 Hospitalists available
- Bariatric Navigator
- BSN or current enrollment required
- Matrix schedule, only work every 3rd weekend
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing
- Certified in Basic Life Support
- Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
- RN I
- RN II = 1-3 years
- RN III = 3-10 years
- RN IV = 10+ years
