Medical Assistant
The Orthopaedic Institute of Southern Illinois is looking to recruit a medical assistant.
Although each duty within the scope of this position is extremely important, none will outweigh the importance of providing exceptional customer service to our patients, staff, and physicians. Customer Service is considered the lifeblood of each physician’s practice. The best candidate for this position will be one who holds a “service attitude” when dealing with everyone from patient to physician. A professional attitude is required along with good communication skills. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and having clinical experience is a must for this position. The medical assistant will be required to handle such duties as: entering orders, answering/returning phone calls, pre-certifying procedures/tests with insurance companies, patient work-up and maintaining an efficient flow of the clinic.
