Job Summary

Amnesty International UK (AIUK) has a simple aim: an end to human rights abuses. Do you want to use your skills, knowledge and experience to help change the world? You could be our new Media and Events Assistant.



About the role

This is a unique opportunity and a great time to join AIUK’s busy Media and PR team. AIUK has ambitious campaigning and growth targets up to 2030 and this role will be supporting in delivering those targets.

The job holder will support the running of our prestigious Media Awards, celebrating the courage and determination of journalists and editors who sometimes put their lives on the line to report on vital human rights issues. This may involve: writing and editing copy, taking part in shortlisting, and organising and coordinating judging sessions.

They will also assist in evaluating our coverage and ensure we use our limited resources effectively to reach our target audiences and ultimately deliver human rights change.
