We have an immediate opening for a Mechanical / Plumbing Estimator.

The Estimator is responsible for evaluating bids specifications and following up with subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical / Plumbing Estimator

• Maintains communication with subcontractors and vendors
• Prepares bid packages
• Ensures that we have the proper coverage
• Contacts supply houses to obtain additional subcontractor bids
• Submits 100% of bids and budgets by the bid deadline
• Enters all relevant information into appropriate systems
• Consistently follows up on submitted bids and budgets w
• Knows architects, construction managers, property managers, brokers and can close business
• Review job costs and drawings with Project Management team

Qualifications of the Mechanical / Plumbing Estimator

• Associate’s degree in business administration or equivalent and five years' related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of analytical experience or statistical work equivalent.
• Experience with developing budgets, vendor relationships, and estimating
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Prior experience in Timberline or Quickpen preferred
• Fire Protection knowledge a plus.
