As a result of our tremendous growth, we have a need for a Mechanical Assembly Technician with the drive to learn and become a successful member of our skid system building team. Crane offers on-the-job training!

What You Get To Do

• Assembles custom mechanical systems.
• Works with equipment such as pumps, valves, instruments, couplings, motors, gear reducers, tanks, mixers, and heat ex-changers.
• Performs metal fabrication processes including, but not limited to cutting, welding, grinding, drilling, and tapping.
• Occasionally Installs systems equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and prepare recommendations for repair or replacement.
• Maintains and perform preventative maintenance on service equipment and tools.

What We Need From You

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Background in automotive, HVAC, construction and/or mechanical contracting
• Welding experience desired
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and assembly drawings
• Willingness to learn - Crane Engineering is committed to training the right candidate the skills required to be a successful Mechanical Assembly Technician
• Positive, forward-thinking individual with high ethical standards

• A valid driver's license
• Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 60 pounds
