You will receive paid training to get you up to speed on the equipment that we repair and maintain. Many of our employees have been with us for over 20 years.

Forklift Mechanic Responsibilities Include:

Perform scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, identify and repair on forklifts at our customer locations. Complete all required documentation via fax, written, or electronically in time frame provided. The Forklift Mechanic will be required to keep inventory of parts and tools. This person will work with the Parts team to ensure you have the correct parts and documentation. In this role, you will be responsible for communicating with multiple people; excellent communication skills with an emphasis on courteous and expert customer service is required. You will be expected responsible for these duties in a safe and timely manner.

Qualifications:

2 or more years as a mechanic working on auto, diesel, heavy equipment, power generation or small engines. Ability to troubleshooting diagnosis and repair.

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Proven track record of troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment required.

Ability to use voltmeters, ohm meter and ability to read electrical schematics required.

Any experience as a Forklift Mechanic, with electric, IC, and Propane experience is a plus

You must have basic mechanics tools such as wrenches, sockets, etc. (Company will provide specialty tools, compressors, etc)

Hourly rate based on experience

Valid Drivers License with clear driving record

Ability to lift 50 lbs

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
