Compensation commensurate with experience.

JOB SUMMARY

Perform highly responsible, complex, non-routine, and often confidential secretarial, administrative, and clerical duties supporting the handling of the day-to-day operations and activities of the Mayor and Mayor’s Chief of Staff. Promote good public relations with citizenry and other governmental and private sector entities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Graduation from high school or GED certification with post-high school education and/or training in business with a minimum of four (4) years’ progressively responsible experience in performing administrative, executive, and communication support duties; or any such combination of education and experience as may be acceptable to the hiring authority.

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

  • The City participates in the South Dakota Retirement System. Employees receive a 6% match. Additionally, employees may choose to enroll in a Deferred Compensation Plan.
