Material Handler / Kit Prep Auditor - 2nd Shift


This role has been designated as ‘Office’, which means you will primarily work from an HPE office.

HPE is hiring a highly motivated and talented Material Handler/Prep Kit Auditor for our manufacturing facility in Chippewa Falls. The Material Handler/Prep Kit Auditor has responsibility for preparing the kits for the production team, including audits of pick lists and parts to ensure successful builds of components built to customer specifications. One year of warehouse experience is required for this role.

Responsibilities and Experience:

  • Motivated Self-Starter is a MUST to support the Production Team.

  • Ability to verifying accuracy of kitted inventory components against build requirements and then segregate components into build quantities according to defined processes.

  • Ability to follow work instructions and set priorities.

  • Applies developed knowledge of the job skills, demonstrates the use of company policies and procedures under ISO compliances to complete a wide variety of assignments/tasks.

  • Thorough understanding of the general/technical aspects of the job.

  • Knowledge of Excel spreadsheet functions.

  • Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature and require ordinary problem resolution and independent judgment.

  • Works under Lead supervision and receives instructions on routine work with general instructions given for new assignments.

  • Employee is able to develop professional and mutually productive relationships by providing timely and accurate responses; Committed to a high level of Customer Satisfaction (internal and external customers).

  • Employee is also able to work to achieve and maintain departmental and company metric goals.

  • Requires 1+ year of experience in materials and/or distribution.

  • Must be able to work overtime including weekends and holidays as mandated.

  • Qualified applicants are able to stand 95% of the working hours on cement floors while working off pallets at floor level while using a mobile work station and laptop.

  • Ability to independently lift 40lbs.

Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • High school diploma required, preferred Associate's degree, plus one year of warehouse experience.

  • Motivated Self-Starter is a MUST to support the Production Team.

  • Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
