Providence is calling a Manager Sales: Medicare Member Retention who will:

  • Be responsible for developing and implementing member retention strategies in the Consumer Sales division within Providence Health Plans
  • Build processes and tools to increase member retention and engagement to drive overall membership growth
  • Analyze customer data to identify trends, create member journey map , and develop actionable insights.
  • Monitor customer feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify, track, and monitor KPIs (disenrollment rates, customer satisfaction ratings, churn rates, etc.) as it relates to member retention.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, sales teams, and other areas to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Create reports and presentations to present findings to senior leadership.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in member retention.

We welcome 100% remote work for residents who live in the States of Oregon, Washington & California.

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • 5+ years' experience in health insurance sales, operations or service - preferably Medicare Sales
  • 5+ years' strong experience analyzing data
  • Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of drivers license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business, Sales, Marketing preferred -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
  • 8+ Years in a healthcare setting, preferably a health insurance carrier - Medicare and/or Individual/ACA
  • Experience in Medicare Member Retention
  • Ability to identify opportunities to interpret and use data to inform retention strategies
  • Strategic Planning and Analysis: ability to create and implement plans to improve member retention
  • Leadership: ability to motivate, delegate, and lead team members in their retention efforts.
  • Communication: excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal Skills: ability to build relationships and foster collaboration with members
  • Problem Solving: ability to identify and solve issues related to member retention
  • Project Management: ability to manage complex projects related to member retention
  • Market Knowledge: comprehensive understanding of the market and competitive landscape related to membership retention.
  • Technology: proficiency in the use of technology for tracking, analyzing, and reporting on member retention efforts.
  • Understanding of CMS regulations and state and federal Medicare requirements, the managed care industry, and pertinent legislation
