You will get to use your creative energy to lead a team of 4-5 supervisors, and meet with individuals who count on us along with their families, caregivers, and businesses that support us in the community.

You won’t be micro-managed, but you will have support.

Responsibilities:

So, what exactly would you do in a role like this? Let’s break it down...

This role is accountable for making a difference in individuals’ lives with diverse abilities by overseeing the following:

  • Service delivery- about 20% of the job includes ensuring quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the services delivered as well as ensuring compliance with regulations, helping to develop policies and procedures, and ensuring completion of individual assessments, goals and program plans, etc.
  • You will ensure the implementation of participant (client) focused initiatives to enhance the participant (client) experience in support of our servant leader culture
  • Leadership and Management Prowess- about 30% of the role involves leading teams to maximize employee engagement, onboarding and training team members, motivating, coaching, etc.
  • This also includes incident reporting and follow-up and ensuring a safe and supportive environment conducive to learning
  • Relationships, relationships, relationships- especially with local and state agencies to ensure compliance and help develop new referral sources and develop and maintain relationships with families and participants
  • Staying on top of regulatory compliance is about 15% of the role… reviewing and creating new policies to ensure compliance, etc.
  • Fiscal oversight will be about 10% of your time- reviewing financial indicators regularly, trends, etc., and monitoring budgets… record keeping, reviewing PTO, incident reporting, etc.
  • The 10% most of us don’t love: Administration and Paperwork, but it’s certainly necessary for this line of work
  • And of course, the 5% of other items that always pop up on the job: To align with our mission and support other responsibilities

Qualifications:

What do you need to do this job?

  • Associate’s degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college/university and 4 years prior experience working directly with individuals with disabilities
  • OR a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university and 2 years prior work experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Prior multi-site management experience is helpful
  • Valid PA driver’s license
  • 6 months’ prior driving experience is required
