Management Trainee - Electrical Engineering

Summary:

Our Management Trainee Program is looking for an Electrical Engineer to be part of our management trainee program. This is an entry level management position with exceptional hands-on experience. The Management Trainee (EE) will spend several months gaining a solid understanding of our operations through direct observation and shadowing. The selected individual will be responsible for electrical maintenance, technical support, installation, of control systems for the facility, equipment, and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Working with Engineering staff on various projects such as line installation, start-up and/or testing
• Developing specifications, obtaining quotes from contractors, scheduling work, overseeing implementation
• Contacting vendors, obtaining quotes, writing purchase orders, project accounting documentation
• Communicating engineering project documentation with multiple departments; Operations, Maintenance, Quality Assurance and Accounting

Qualifications

• Full-time college Senior undergraduate student, majoring in Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related Engineering fields at a regionally accredited university
• Must be able to work in cold (around 35 degrees) or ambient (whatever it is outside) temperatures
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Strong work ethic and willingness to execute duties with high quality results
• Ability to complete job tasks with minimal supervision
• Ability to operate a PC equipped with MS Office Software

Compensation

• Competitive base salary with shift premium pay and annual performance bonus
• 136 Hours Vacation in year 1

Physical Requirements

Work is primarily performed in an office environment requiring ability to sit, talk, hear, frequent walking, standing and sitting; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. Ability to use standard office equipment such as telephone, computer, and copier.
