AVCMHA provides State funded public mental health services to Iosco, Ogemaw, and Oscoda counties in northern Michigan. Services are provided to people with an Intellectual or Developmental Disability (I/DD), a Serious Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI), and/or those who may be Seriously Emotionally Disturbed (SED).

Bachelor’s degree in human services field, organizational management, business or similar isrequired

  • Maintain all required trainings and certifications.
  • Possess a valid US driver's license.
  • Provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or possession of necessary papers allowing holder to work legally in the United States.

The Managed Care Generalist will report to the Chief Quality Officer and will provide support to the Compliance and Quality Specialist and the Contracts and Compliance Specialist. This position will assist with a wide range of projects in the areas of regulation, compliance, provider network management, contracts, accreditation, audits and the Agency’s electronic health record. In addition, this position will help resolve specific questions by identifying internal and external customer needs and routing to appropriate Agency resources. This will be done in person, on the phone, or through written correspondence performing the following duties personally.
