Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking an HVAC experienced and reliable Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team of 6 in maintaining our 492-unit Garden Style Class C property. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and excellent problem-solving skills. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for conducting repairs and maintenance on all building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs
• Conduct regular inspections of building systems and identify and troubleshoot issues
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize work orders
• Work collaboratively with the rest of the maintenance team to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently
• Keep the maintenance shop and equipment clean and organized
• Participate in the on-call rotation to respond to maintenance emergencies as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• HVAC Certified is a must
• At least 5 years of experience in Apartment Community maintenance work
• Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Own tools are required
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periods of time
• Must be available for immediate start
