Position: Maintenance Technician – 2nd shift
Location; Cadillac, MI
Hired directly on day 60. Pay rate will increase to $26.65 on day 60. Potential to move up to $32.40/hour.

Job purpose
To provide technical support and resources to manufacturing/engineering processes, and equipment. Ensure that equipment and processes are maintained at the highest level of safety, efficiency, productivity, and capability. Installs and repairs systems, apparatus, electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment by performing the following duties.
Key responsibilities
Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers.
Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment. This includes all voltages from 0 to 480 volts
Install, maintain, and repair all production equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures, and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.
Tests malfunctioning machinery and troubleshoot systems, discusses malfunctions with other maintenance workers, and machine operators, to diagnose malfunction.
Replaces faulty components of machine such as relays, switches, motors, and positions sensing devices.
Diagnoses, repairs or replace faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards and processors.
Perform Preventative and Predictive maintenance tasks on various equipment IAW prescribed standards
Manipulate and be able to diagnose malfunctions and test functions on robot controllers, teach pendants, and programmable controllers to program automated machinery, to test for malfunctions, and to verify repairs.
Diagnoses and replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
Must work overtime as required to support production.
We are looking for
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and five years industrial maintenance and/or training preferred. Must pass the company entry level Technician assessment test which will be administered at the Arch Staffing office.
