The Maintenance Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing the companys stores per region. This includes inspecting refrigerated cases, evaporative condensers, air cooled condensers, swamp coolers, roof top units, package units and all HVAC and refrigeration related equipment. The role will be responsible for training store team members on equipment use and care, schedule routine maintenance, assist in planning new projects and perform emergency repairs. The Maintenance Refrigeration Technician assesses the costs of maintaining workspaces, makes recommendations for becoming more efficient, and may assist in relocating businesses to a new office space that better meets their needs. After hours and weekend emergency dispatching and or work in their region will be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• 
  Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs to both building and equipment as needed;
• Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with third party vendors;
• Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or loss prevention team members;
• Maintaining day-to-day operations of stores, such as delegating or completing maintenance work orders;
• Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff;
• Preparing facilities for seasonal weather conditions;
• Collaborating with maintenance dispatchers, property managers and upper management on budgeting for facilitys needs;
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• 
  Minimum 2+ years proven work experience as Refrigeration Technician Journeyman;
• Advanced mechanical skills and knowledge of EMS Systems, Refrigeration Racks, Protocols, and all HVAC system types;
• Proficiency with repair tools and techniques;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of employees, vendors, and team members;
• Great time management, organization, and prioritization abilities;
• Keen attention to detail and efficient problem-solving skills;
• Knowledge and experience using Corrigo or similar facilities management software;
• Bilingual, fluent in Spanish.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, drive, and use the hands to handle objects, tools, or controls;
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.; Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery.
• Ability to drive work truck along with tools and equipment as needed;
• Successful performance requires vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Disclaimer:

Pay Scale $35.00 to $40.00

The pay scale above is the salary or hourly wage range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position.
