Maintenance Clerk
AJR Trucking, Inc. Was established in 1984 and has been operating for over 30 years supplying transportation services to the U.S. Postal Service. As a U.S. Mail contractor, the company been awarded three times the “Eagle Spirit Award” from the U.S Postal Service for “Outstanding Management Time Sensitive Transportation.”
The Invoice Specialist will report directly to the Regional Maintenance Manager and will support all duties associated with processing invoices and validate all vendor pricing to be accurate. This is an opportunity for a highly driven individual who is detail oriented, disciplined, and hard working. This role will be working closely with other departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Processing vendor invoices in our TMS software (TMT)
- Communicate with vendors when there is an issue with an Invoice
- Ensure orders do not exceed the allowable terms based on individual customer contract
- Work with accounting to ensure all invoices are processed and paid in a timely manner
- Implement a system so all invoices get processed in a timely manner
- Follow our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for each customer
- Track and record receipts for maintenance purchases
- Other task as necessary
- Be able to type 40 WPM
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel and Word
- Familiarity with accounting and inventory tracking software.
- Strong Organizational skills
- Ability to consistently meet all deadlines
- Strong communication skills
