Maintenance Manager

BRAND NEW OPENING HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS NEPHI takes pride in the overall condition and up keep of our hotel and is seeking energetic, attention to detail individual to join our Maintenance team as a Full-Time Maintenance Manager.

Can you stay one step ahead of maintenance challenges to make our guests’ safety and comfort your number one priority? We’re searching for a Head of Maintenance that goes further to make sure his team always puts safety first.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

· Managing daily maintenance needs to ensure the right team is always on the right task

· Carrying out a preventative maintenance programme that creates a safe, secure and comfortable environment for our guests to enjoy

· Helping to prepare the departmental budget and keeping tight control of expenses

· Leading hotel renovations and other projects, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely completion of projects within budget

· Maintaining good working relationships with outside contractors

What we need from you

· An attitude of ownership and pride in this brand new hotel

· Above and Beyond Guest Service

· Hotel experience preferred but not necessary, as long as there is a yearning to learn

· Ability to clearly communicate and navigate maintenance app

A Maintenance Manager is someone who pays attention to details and takes ownership of the hotel. They maintain the overall condition and can troubleshoot/fix routine maintenance issues with very little assistance. The Maintenance Supervisor always demonstrates integrity, accountability, responsibility, multitasking and is a team player.

Maintenance duties, but not limited to:

• Managing Warranties and Vendors
• Daily use of Maintenance App
• Daily Pool Checks
• Daily Preventive Maintenance
• Emergency Maintenance support
• Above and Beyond Guest Service
• Clear communication between all departments
• Any other assigned task or project as directed by management.

Reference checks, high school diploma, CPO Certified (Preferred), Previous Hotel experience preferred but not necessary

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
