$4,000.00 SIGN-ON BONUS!

The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Barnwell is currently seeking an LPN Charge Nurse to work day shift, Monday to Friday! The charge nurse be on the weekend rotation approximately every 6-weeks.

Charge Nurse Duties Include:

• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required.
• Ensure that the Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current and reflects the day-to-day nursing procedures performed.
• Ensure that all nursing service personnel are in compliance with their respective job description.
• Participate in the development, maintenance and implementation of the facilitys' quality assurance program for the nursing service department
• Perdiodically review the residents' written discharge plan
• Participate in the updating of the Residents' written discharge plan
• Admit, tranfer and discharge residents as necessary.
• Report any known or suspected unauthorized attempts to access facility's information systems.

LPN Requirements Include:

• Current and valid NY LPN License
• Experience in a Nursing Home or Hospital
• Good Customer Service Skills
