Log Yard Associate
Are you looking for a job that keeps you busy and where the day flies by? Independent Stave Company is looking for self-starters that can manage their time and help us accomplish the day-to-day tasks of waxing logs to help manage and preserve purchased log inventories at various locations or buying yards.
Typical Schedule: In this role, a typical day will start at 7:30 am and end between 3-4 pm, Monday through Friday.
Starting Pay: $16 an hour.
*This role is considered a season role from May-October. *
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Travel to various buying yards to count, verify and preserve purchased logs during the summer.
- May need to help or assist with log buyers with customers.
- Record various data onto appropriate log sheets.
- Ensure all logs have tags.
- Dedicated to all Safety rules and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently and bend, twist, squat, and reach throughout the work shift.
- Exposed to altered climate conditions when in warehouse or yard.
- Must be able to record data accurately.
- Excellent work ethic and attendance.
