As Leedstone continues to grow, we are actively seeking to add a motivated and driven individual to our Melrose, MN location as a full-time Location Sales Manager. The Location Sales Manager is responsible for providing overall leadership of the Equipment Sales, Farm Management Support (FMS), Equipment Service, and Route teams within the Melrose location. This includes personnel management, process improvement, budget and P&L responsibility, and execution of sales and marketing initiatives. Our ideal candidate has a strong work ethic and is self-motivated, honest, dependable, and friendly.

Key Responsibilities:

· Directly responsible for overseeing all activities of the Equipment Sales, FMS, Equipment Service, and Route teams for the Melrose location.

· Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new team members.

· Directs, develops, and oversees the performance of team members.

· Inspires and motivates team members to perform at their best through positive encouragement and coaching.

· Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations to direct reports.

· Develops, implements, and reviews processes and procedures.

· Coordinates with other teams within the company to foster exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities.

· Responsible for creating and maintaining a culture of excellent customer service.

· Develops and maintains direct customer relationships.

· Long-term planning to create initiatives that further the company’s overall goals.

· Drives opportunities for sales growth through entire location teams.

· Assesses and analyzes departmental budgets to find ways to minimize expenses and optimize profits.

· Ensures safety is a priority within the location teams.

· Effectively and appropriately communicates progress, needs, issues, and challenges.

Education/Experience:

· 4-year degree in Ag Business, Management, or related area preferred.

· Minimum 5-10 years of management experience in ag business and/or dairy farming preferred.

· Extensive understanding of dairy equipment, supplies, and animal health products preferred.

· Highly analytical with thorough understanding of financial analysis.

· Expert-level organizational, and interpersonal and communication skills.

· Proficient with computer programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

· Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills; Solution-focused.
