Job Description:

• Responsible for the daily operations of the Health Information Services (HIS) Department. Ensures the protection and confidentiality of protected health information in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
• **This role requires daily travel primarily within IDOH's District #6 footprint. Please refer to the document included in the "Reference" section of this req. Additional information can be found under the "Skills" section, under "Questions".
• Travel: Team members will meet at a pre-determined time and location (Cambridge City, IN), where they will then travel to that day's scheduled location, which maybe inside or outside, to perform their duties.
• Candidates who elect to travel to the worksite location independently, when transportation is available, will do so at their own cost (no expenses for this travel), and must have prior approval from the team transportation coordinator.

Hours: Schedule fluctuations based upon location and response needs, must be available M-S, 6am – 10pm. Scheduled times and dates will not be consistent weekly.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
