Ribs Hickory BBQ Pit is a locally owned Los Lunas Restaurant which opened its doors in 1999. Ribs Barbecue provides high quality, freshly prepared food at affordable prices. Our “Tractor” decor provides families with a fun atmosphere for a casual and comfortable dining experience. Friendly, courteous, and prompt service will be provided by a staff sensitive to a busy lunchtime clientele as well as a more boisterous family dominated trade in the evening.
Primary Responsibilities - Prepare and cook all menu items in accordance with recipe specifications, utilizing the proper cooking equipment, tools, and ingredients.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a range of kitchen equipment.
- Prepare food according to the recipes and customer's orders.
- Prepare meat.,Prepare vegetables.,Prepare a variety of deserts.
- Plan menus.
- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sauteing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
