Camp Rock is a small business in Parkville, MD. We offer a rewarding, fun, and collaborative atmosphere. Camp Rock is a non-denominational Christian Day Camp. Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

We are grateful to help the next generation build fun memories, develop their skills, talents, and cultivate their interests. Camp Rock is also a non-profit 501 (c)(3) youth summer camp in Baltimore, Maryland. Summer camp experiences are important for healthy child development.

In addition to offering recreational activities and programs at Camp Rock, we also offer academic enrichment for all campers. Camp Rock summer camp activities include nature trails, water activities, swimming, games, crafts, performing arts, sports, team-building, academic enrichment, special guests, field trips, delicious meals, friendships, and so much more!

Our company is seeking Lifeguards and Swim Instructors to help teach our students about water safety and survival techniques. The ideal candidate will have a high level of energy and enthusiasm, be able to work well in a team setting and be able to interact positively with children. Prior teaching experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise Campers During Aquatic Activities
• Teach children the fundamentals of swimming, diving, and stroke techniques.
• Teach water safety and life-saving techniques to those who are at risk of drowning.
• Teach children proper techniques for entering and exiting the pool.
• Be responsible for the safety and well-being of children under their care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Parkville, MD 21234: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
