We are hiring for reliable LPNs (Licensed Practical Nurses) to work with our clients in the field.

You will work with a small group of clients. The ideal professional must be qualified and compassionate, and be experienced in providing diverse basic and skilled care to those who need it while remaining patient and calm... Yes! It can be a challenging job but also very rewarding.

Nurses will have to travel for this position.

Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities:

• Performing assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures.
• Provide one-on-one care and assess the effectiveness of treatment to ensure that the patient receives the most comprehensive, high-quality, and appropriate care possible
• Provide nursing care and prescribed treatments for our clients, according to the physician's plan of care while following confidentiality and professional boundaries
• Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical Manager
• Follow up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders.
• Perform client assessments as necessary.
• Assist ailing patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing etc.
• Teach and counsel the patient and family/significant others regarding the nursing care needs and other related problems of the patient while at home

Skills

• Prior home care experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with pediatrics, adults, geriatrics, feeding tubes, developmental disabilities, neurological disorders, endocrine disorders, and injections required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks
• Familiarity with health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
• Excellent knowledge of medical terminology
• Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and able to handle occassional high stress moments
• Successful completion of LPN license program is a MUST

Qualifications:

• A current license as a Licensed Practice Nurse in the state of Florida.
• Graduate of an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

Active, unrestricted FL LPN license
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
HS Diploma/GED
Valid Driver's license and social security card
Reliable transportation with active vehicle registration and insurance
Valid BLS and First Aid card
Recent statement of health
