Licensed Practical Nurse
Job description
- Friday and Saturday: 8 pm - 8 am
Qualifications:
- Active LPN license in the state of Virginia
- Private-duty nursing experience
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Pass a criminal background check
- Experience with Trachs and NG Tubes
- Current CPR, PPD (TB Test) required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor the patient's vital signs and report any changes to the physician or RN
- Document patient care activities and communicate updates to the interdisciplinary team
- Ensure the patient's comfort and safety at all times
- Provide emotional support to the patient and their family
