Baker Hughes has an opening for a Leucipa™ Region Leader for North America, within Oilfield Services & Equipment Digital (OFSED) to be based in Houston, USA. This role reports into the recently announced OFSE Digital Production Optimization Director/Leucipa™ business lead.
This position is responsible for developing and executing Leucipa™ business in North America. They will lead from the front; the buck stops firmly with them and they have complete accountability for the success of Leucipa™ in North America.
This position is responsible for either originating sales or supporting sales by working with region and account sales to build and maintain customer relationships, identifying new opportunities to build the Leucipa™ opportunity pipeline, promoting the value proposition of Leucipa™ to new and existing customers, and owning the development and execution of sales strategies for Leucipa™ in North America.
Once Leucipa pilots/contracts are established they will maintain overall ownership of the safe and successful execution of these, including the implementation of customer feedback and recommendations.
They will be responsible for the profitability of Leucipa™ in their region.

Essential Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with strategic marketing to research, understand and disseminate the North America competitive dynamic in the digital production space.
  • Work with Leucipa™ partners to map North America accounts from a production digital purchasing/operating perspective and use this data to create pursuit plans.
  • Work with Global Production Optimization Director and partners to create Leucipa™ North America yearly and multi-year (LRP) business plan – responsible for the revenue and margin commitments in this plan.
  • Act as the North America coordinating focal point across a multidisciplinary team for Leucipa™ opportunities and projects; connecting across PL sales, region sales, Leucipa partners and digital SMEs.
  • Present Leucipa™ capability to operators across North America and secure pilots/contracts.
  • Coordinate the creation of detailed customer-specific proposals and implementation plans for Leucipa™.
  • Manage the safe and successful implementation of Leucipa pilots and contracts – ensuring the appropriate SMEs are brought in with good time and the timelines agreed with customers are achieved.
  • Ensure customer feedback is fed back to the Leucipa product team in a timely manner in order to 1) improve the Leucipa™ offering and 2) ensure customers are satisfied and continue the Leucipa™ ‘journey’ across multiple revisions of the solution.
  • Manage costs with project and region team to ensure profitability targets are achieved/exceeded.
  • Connect with PLs and ensure product pull-through opportunities are realized.

Essential qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Sales and operations roles
  • Proven ability to introduce new solutions to customers and convert these into contracts.
  • Readiness to travel 30-50% of the time
