POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Administer, maintain, and support the company’s learning management system, ensuring its smooth operation and availability.
  • Develop, implement, and manage eLearning courses, including multimedia content, assessments, and reports.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to design and develop effective eLearning courses.
  • Ensure that all courses are designed to meet industry standards and are accessible and usable by all learners.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and procedures for the LMS, including user guides, best practices, and FAQ’s.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of eLearning courses and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices, making recommendations for updates and improvements to the LMS as needed.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to the LMS and provide support to end users.
  • Ensure all staff remains in compliance with required trainings and report on staff who are out of compliance. This includes monitoring training completion records, conducting follow-up with non-compliant staff, and working with departments to resolve compliance issues.

MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, instructional design, Education, or a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in learning and development or with LMS administration
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and experience developing eLearning courses.
  • Experience with at least one LMS platform such as Blackboard, Canvas, Moodle etc.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and use it to make informed decisions and recommendations.
  • Must be a natural troubleshooter and demonstrate proactivity when issues arise.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, and possess excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Consistently maintains a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Able to function well autonomously and as a team member.
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving ability and proven accuracy with detailed information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including business writing and professional telephone manner.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes
  • Requires frequent reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, running, carrying, and lifting 50 or more lbs.
  • Must be able to see and hear within normal range with or without correction.
  • The noise intensity level is moderate to high.

SALARY RANGE:

$26.00-28.00 per hour
