Janitor/Maintenance Associate

A client of ours in Wilsonville is looking to add a Janitor/Maintenance Associate to their team. This company works with redistribution of specialty items for restaurants, coffee shops, etc.

This is an evaluation to full-time hire position.

Duties:

• Perform general janitorial functions such as cleaning and sanitizing work areas, bathrooms, breakrooms, vacuum, and dust office area, mopping, disinfecting, waxing floors.
• Maintain cleaning supplies
• Basic maintenance functions including installing warehouse racking, pallet repair, build office furniture, general yard maintenance, and general troubleshooting
• Product recovery, cleaning, sanitizing, and repackaging
• Recycling of paper, cardboard, and plastic wrap
• Assist in Shipping & Receiving, performing packaging, assembly, and labeling
• Limited operation of powered industrial equipment
• Continual use of manual pallet jacks moving materials weighing, but not exceeding 600 lbs.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety procedures

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs):

• 
  Reliable, great communication, open to learning new skills needed to complete the job
• Warehouse or Janitorial experience is preferred, not required
• Experience with pallet jacks or Forklift is preferred, they will train if needed
• Ability to read, write, and speak English, basic math functions
• Able to lift to 50lbs, bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time

Pay: $18 - $20/hr. DOE

Schedule(s): Monday- Friday, 7AM – 3:30PM
