Kwik Trip’s IT Department is looking for a self-motivated Project Manager.

Job Description:

This individual will oversee a diverse group of software and hardware projects. Responsible for the overall planning, direction, coordination, execution, control, and completion of these IT related projects.

Regular tasks include:

• Manage all sizes and complexities of IT projects throughout the project lifecycle
• Facilitate the definition of project charter, scope, goals, and deliverables
• Create project plans and project schedules
• Coordinate with third party integration and/or software partners
• Monitor the project for both time and cost budgets
• Provide reporting on projects to all levels within the organization
• Work with IT Management team for Demand Management planning
• Understand all functions within an IT organization and understand how demand is affected
• Provide regular status reporting of IT active projects to Business Unit Sponsers, BU Project Managers, and all Stakeholders on pre-project determined intervals
• Assess new project demands to understand areas of the IT organization affected
• Work with IT Management and other IT PMs on continuous improvement and standardization efforts the better the team’s Project Management best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or IT Related area with a minimum 3 years’ experience with project management in an IT/Business environment
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
• Knowledge of PMI(Project Management Institute) standards and Resource Demand Management
• Knowledge of creating scope, plans, and goals from project requirements
• Knowledge of quality management, ITIL practices, and ITSM tools
• Technical aptitude
• Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
• Leadership; and ability to analyze and organize information and resources
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under pressure in fast paced environment
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels within the organization
• Formal training in Project Management; knowledge of ServiceNow and/or Jira is a plus

Work schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours with occasional evenings and weekends as needed for the business.
