Job Function:

Responsible for monitoring and controlling plant spending to remain within the approved annual budget. Manage direct and indirect parts and materials inventory, including planning, procurement, inventory, and payment. Provide support to plant operations by assisting in all phases of the material requirement and payment process.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain inventories to assure stocking levels are sufficient to meet plant operation’s needs.
  • Manage plant spending, department budgets for direct and indirect parts and contractor activities at the site utilizing SAP and excel.
  • Participate in annual budget process and monthly financial reporting.
  • Tracking safety purchases, such as boots and safety glasses.
  • Tracking of recycle material to include payment
  • Manage Travel and Expense reports for the site.
  • Prepare invoices for payment and ensure proper coding in accordance with company policies.
  • Enter invoices, trouble shoot and follow up on A/P issues and requests.
  • New vendor set up
  • Maintain high level of confidentiality when working on sensitive material, information and communication
  • Certificate of insurance verifications
  • Order and maintain adequate supplies for plant and office operations.
  • Solicit quotes and place orders
  • Track all spending (budgetary and capital) for plant operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • SAP and/or PRS experience preferred.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook experience.
  • Ability to professionally and effectively communicate regularly with customers both internally (all administrative offices) contractors and vendors.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with little direct supervision.

  • Factory/Office environment
  • Varying noise and heat levels.
  • Responsibilities allow occasional opportunity for varying work routine

Physical Demands:

Employees must be able to:

  • Lift up to 15lbs. infrequently.
  • Walk, bend, lift, twist, reach, lean over, pull, push, stoop and sit on a regular basis and for long periods of time.

SQF Requirements/Responsibilities:

Support SQF by:

  • Maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner
  • Maintaining the master list of documents
  • Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
