GHR search is seeking an interim Director of Nursing, RN for a 4 week contract opportunity with a skilled nursing facility in the Scranton, PA area. The Interim Director of Nursing has the potential to turn into a permanent position for the right candidate.

Director of Nursing Details:

• Direct, oversee and evaluate all nursing personnel
• Monday to Friday dayshift shift
• Overtime eligible

Director of Nursing (DON) Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee, evaluate, and coach all nursing personnel
• Control department budgets
• Coordinate with physicians, patients, and families about patient health updates
• Manage patient data maintaining patient confidentiality
• Implement and enforce policies maintaining legal compliance
• Provide an excellent patient care experience
• Resolve issues
• Report any necessary incidents as required

Requirements for Interim Director of Nursing (RN):

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of PA
• Management experience within a long-term care environment
• CPR Certification
