We are currently seeking an Intake Coordinator (Full Time) for our Blue Bell, PA location. This is an in-person position.

The role represents J. Snyder Therapeutic Services while speaking with prospective patients who seek psychological and/or psychiatric services. The Intake Coordinator is responsible for matching the prospective patient with the most appropriate clinician based on the needs of the patient. In addition to: verifying the insurance and financial responsibilities of the patient, managing a high volume of phone calls and patient referrals from Primary Care Practices, and working successfully on a high-functioning team.

Schedule: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (flexible)

Compensation: $16.00 – 18.00 per hour

Requirements:

• Experience working in a medical or behavioral health office is highly desirable

• Thorough understanding of insurance, including verifying insurance status and reviewing patient financial responsibility based on their plan coverage

• Ability to handle a high volume of phone calls in a professional, service-oriented manner

• Excellent interpersonal skills with an energetic personality are a must for this position as this position interfaces with our clients on a routine basis

• Ability for critical thinking when issues or concerns are raised

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Navinet billing software, and Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.

J. Snyder Therapeutic Services (JSTS) is a group practice offering psychotherapy/counseling, as well as Psychiatry in conjunction with medication management provided by Nurse Practitioners. JSTS operates out of 3 Pennsylvania locations: Ambler, Blue Bell, and North Wales - in conjunction with delivering services via Telehealth.
