We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Intake Call Specialist!

The Intake Call Specialist main duties are to answers incoming calls, faxes and referrals to Access Center. Determining the needs of callers/referrals and coordinates referrals to Ridgeview’s Assessment Center or other resource to further address those needs. Documents phone triages through data entry in computer and manually on call sheets. Coordinates with Access Center Assessment Clinicians and other hospital staff to ensure internal and external customer service needs are met.

Minimum Education: BA in mental health field or significant related work experience

Preferred Experience: 1-year experience in intake or admissions process.

Skills: Operate a multi-function telephone set; operate computer terminal; input data into computer programs; maintain filing systems; maintain logs and records; coordinate and schedule assessments; operate photocopier; operate FAX machine.

Characteristics for the Job: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills, knowledge of mental health treatment field, excellent computer data entry skills.
