LaSalle Representatives is a manufacturers' representative in the electrical distribution and equipment industry, representing the most reputable manufacturers in the NYC - NJ Metropolitan Market. We pride ourselves on being product line experts for the brands we represent, delivering value to customers through our technical aptitude and responsiveness to customer requests.

The primary function of this role is to provide: project quotes, take-off’s and bid preparation, prepare bill of materials and pricing for customers, project management customer service, and support for outside sales engineers. Ability to follow-up on quotations and close orders is a must.

Also, the ideal candidate will provide technical assistance to distributors and customers while entering orders, prepare submittal packages and aid in material tracking amongst other duties.

The candidate will maintain effective communication between distributors and field sales engineers thereby maximizing sales effectiveness for the overall team.

Position Criteria:

• Work well in a fun and energetic and fast paced team environment!
• Strong work ethic, interpersonal skills, and willingness to learn new products and processes.
• Ability to self-regulate work load and responsibilities
• Ability to ask for feedback and close orders.
• Experience in the electrical product industry is preferred but not required. Familiarity with the following products will be held in high regard: switchgear, lighting, electrical commodities, electrical installations, construction sales and technical products.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
