About PAI Pharma

PAI offers a broad portfolio of more than 60 prescription and over-the-counter therapies to treat patients. Some of our core strengths include brain, immune, metabolic and digestive health. For the OTC market, we provide a wide variety of affordable medications to treat allergies and upper respiratory symptoms, minor aches and pains, constipation and more.

PRIMARY PURPOSE or JOB SUMMARY

To support QA Manufacturing activities on the production floor

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Ensure that products are manufactured according to cGMP requirements.
  • Perform of walkthroughs of GMP areas to ensure inspection readiness of facility is maintained; includes documentation, follow-up and escalation of observations, and areas of concern.
  • Use some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions with guidance.
  • Perform verifications of documents related to the manufacturing operations.
  • Perform in-process testing (pH, specific gravity, titrations, etc.).
  • Perform batch calculations.
  • Perform QS verifications.
  • Verify cleaning procedures.
  • Sample collection.
  • Data Entry.
  • Maintenance and revision of applicable procedures.
  • Any other Quality Assurance duties as assigned by management.

ACCOUNTABILITY

For the compliance, accuracy and timeliness of responsibilities and work assigned. Maintain skill set by remaining current in industry standards and best practices through workshops, webinars etc.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience – minimum of two years in quality assurance or quality control
  • Two year college degree or combination of education and experience
  • Detailed, critical thinking skills
  • Good communication skills – verbal and written
  • Intermediate math skills
  • Computer use skills
  • Be able to lift and carry 30 lbs.
  • Experience in a cGMP environment preferred

EQUIPMENT AND MACHINES

  • Basic Computer skills to include the use of MS Word and MS Excel
  • General Laboratory Equipment

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Manufacturing, packaging and warehouse production areas.
  • Prolonged standing (approximately 6-10 hours per day).
  • Walking
  • Gowning requirements.
