Ice Cream Server

Qualifications

•Must be able to operate a cash register/credit card/point of sale touchscreen and have adequate cash handling skills

•Standing, walking, and/or moving for prolonged periods of time with full use of the hands and wrists

•Be able to lift and move at least 25 lbs

Responsibilities

•Must be able to describe, talk about, and serve all menu items to guests

•We offer 48 flavor options in stores but have 150+ recipes

•Execute friendly, engaging, and genuine customer service during fast moving and busy service hours

•Store associates are responsible for maintaining a clean workspace, completing daily tasks, working as a team or alone to complete any ice cream order, as well as stocking and rotating product

•Consistently arrive on-time to all scheduled shifts throughout the week and follow proper company protocol

•Balanced sense of urgency while still being friendly, engaging, and navigating guests through the menu experience

•Understanding of food handling and food safety

•Report to work in a neat and clean uniform

•Must be able to be trained in proper food handling techniques. Obtain a food handlers card within 7 days of being hired.

•Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential

HANDEL'S HOMEMADE ICE CREAM is looking for Ice Cream Servers for our BRAND-NEW 215-Rainbow location in the Arroyo Market Square shopping center.

What we expect from TEAM MEMBERS:

-Must be able to describe, talk about, and serve all menu items to guests. We offer 48 flavor options in stores but have 150+ recipes.

-Execute friendly, engaging, and genuine customer service during fast moving and busy service hours.

-Able to problem solve and find positive resolutions to challenging questions, requests, and/or interactions.

-Must be able to operate a cash register/credit card/point of sale touchscreen and have adequate cash handling skills.

-Standing, walking, and/or moving for prolonged periods of time with full use of the hands and wrists.

-Be able to lift and move at least 25 lbs. and perform cleaning/sanitation tasks according to statewide industry standards.

-Consistently arrive on time to all scheduled shifts throughout the week and follow proper company protocol if unable to do so.

-Balanced sense of urgency while still being friendly, engaging, and navigating guests through the menu experience.

-Reliability. We are looking for people who strive to be part of a team environment where everyone holds themselves accountable. This enables us to focus on getting to know our guests better and have more fun engagement with them.
